Dr. Olga Fellus is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education in the Faculty of Education at Brock University. Dr. Fellus holds a PhD (2018) in Teaching, Learning, and Assessment from the University of Ottawa. She has accumulated more than 20 years of experience in the field of education as a researcher, instructor, and reviewer in higher education as well as a having enriching experience as a teacher, subject coordinator, academic director, educational consultant, and teacher educator.

Dr. Fellus’ research focuses on identity in mathematics education; STEM; TPACK in mathematics education; discourse analysis; learning theories; early algebra; spatial reasoning; educational change; SEL; and complexity theory. Dr. Fellus has a wide interest in children’s developing identities as users and doers of mathematics and STEM-related teaching and learning.

Rob Blom holds a B.Math in mathematical physics from the University of Waterloo and a MEd in Education from Brock University in Canada. He is currently completing doctoral studies at Brock University with a focus on combining perennial thought, integral theory, mindfulness, and non-Aristotelian logic in teacher development. His personal interests include teaching, permaculture, Western meditations, and Eastern qigong. His academic interests include complexity theory, deep ecology, mindfulness, metaphysics, and educational philosophy. He applies his theories and practices as the director at wiseOak Akadēmeía which is responsible for disseminating philosophical models of education, professional writing assistance, educational consultancy, and ontological coaching.


Fahad Ansar, B. Sc. (Hons.)

Fahad Ansar is a graduate student working on his Master’s in Computer Science at Brock University. He works on Web development, Algorithms, and Data structures. Fahad channelizes his passion to create stuff to different mediums like programming, writing, drawing, etc.

Fahad is an enthusiast about developing websites and software that can serve a purpose or new idea. He has developed this interest throughout his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He developed multiple systems such as a Quantum computer on the classical machine, an Android app to manage small-scale loans, and a Multi-platform File organizer, which organizes files into their type or extension folders.

Fahad’s research in his Master’s focuses on how mathematics education can be improved with the help of technology. He is currently developing a website that teaches and tests students’ theorem-proving skills. He is working on improving the website so it can be released to high schools for testing purposes.
